Aviation Distributors Association's Quality Audit Assessments 

ADA is an ISO auditing and training consulting firm dedicated to helping aviation distributors, airlines, military suppliers, and repair facilities implement robust aviation quality management systems and quality assurance procedures that align with current FAA requirements. Our services focus on evaluating your company's internal Quality Assurance (QA) processes against ISO standards, ensuring self-compliance with the latest AC 0056B guidelines. This program is designed for companies that are not currently enrolled in the AC 0056B initiative but wish to adopt its QA principles and practices. While participation in this AC is not mandatory and does not constitute a regulation, our process empowers companies to operate under the same high standards independently.


AUDIT ASSESSMENT REQUIREMENTS:

Requirements:

1. In order pass the AC 00-56B assessment audit you are required to have a pre-approved Quality Assurance manual that complies with AC 


If you do not have an manual you can purchase a custom one with your membership plan when you answer just a few questions.

2. Your company must have passed an on-site audit. Audits must be performed to insure your company operating within the AC 00-56B guidelines, this insures your company is using best practices based on industry standards as recommended by the Federal Aviation Administration.  

Accreditation Plans

AS9100 & ISO9001 Certified Quality Auditors

Accreditation inspections are conducted by certified lead auditors under Aerospace standard AS9100:2016 Rev: D (Aerospace Quality) & ISO9001:2015 in conjunction with FAA 0056B requirements.

AS9100 is an internationally recognized quality management system standard specifically tailored for the aviation, space, and defense (AS&D) industry. It establishes a comprehensive framework for organizations involved in the design, development, production, maintenance, and servicing of aerospace products and services. 

ISO 9001 is a globally recognized standard for quality management. It helps organizations of all sizes and sectors to improve their performance, meet customer expectations and demonstrate their commitment to quality. Its requirements define how to establish, implement, maintain, and continually improve a quality management system (QMS).

The consulting firm was founded in 2015 to certify the processes of aviation distributors, 145 shops and airlines operators that wish to independently be compliant with AC 0056B.

ADA offers an independent third-party audit assessment program for companies currently not participating or enrolled in the AC, but want to adhere to Advisory Circular 0056B. As per the FAA, compliance with this AC is not mandatory and does not constitute a regulation. Our accreditation will ensure your self-compliance with AC 0056B standards. Your company will be listed on ADA's independent online database, confirming that a third-party accreditation company has audited your credentials and processes and has certified your organization independently operating in compliance with Circular 0056B.

The organizations being audited must follow all the requirements established by the AC 0056B quality system to stay compliant.  

Accreditation inspections are conducted by certified lead auditors under Aerospace standard AS9100:2016 Rev: D (Aerospace Quality). Please be advised that ADA's evaluation of your company's processes does not include listing in the Airlines Suppliers Association database or any Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) database. Our firm is neither listed on the FAA 0056B circular nor accredited by the FAA. Instead, your company will be included in ADA's independent online database, which confirms that a third-party ISO consulting firm has audited your organization's credentials and processes, verifying you are independently following Circular 0056B guidelines.
